# How to set the slippage and transaction time limit?

Click the ***\[Settings]*** button to open the settings and select a recommended slippage, or enter the slippage you think is appropriate in the "Custom" box.

The default time limit on the source chain is 10 minutes and can be customized. After the time limit runs out, the transaction is terminated and the funds will be returned to the original address.
